I’m kidding, well he has the badge, but we get to tease each other because that’s what East Coast coyotes do.

A little respectful jab keeps us on our paws. It’s all good fun.

We met at the tail end of Neal’s Founders Hike and we've stayed in touch ever since. I’m not sure if it was the action sports connection, the East Coast connection, or simply good Friday morning vibes.

But, I think we should pause and thank Neal for a moment for the sheer number of connections we’ve all made hiking early Friday mornings. Thanks, Neal!

Bill's roots run deep like an old Oak tree in the action sports industry. He’s run PR for brands you might have heard of like:

Sony, Burton (we connected over our love of snow turned to surf), Spy, Nixon, I think you get the idea.

I can’t prove this, but I hear pack whispers that he might have tee’d up Coach Prime and another sunglass brand partnership long before Prime signed with Blenders.

Point is, Bill’s got connections.

But now he’s moving deeper into the startup and entrepreneurship space.

Maybe you’ve seen his coffee series? Where he meets with notables in San Diego, jams over coffee and then shares teasers of the conversation. I tend to have many follow-up questions and I wish I was there just to listen.

Bill, are you posting a pod anytime soon? I need answers.

Anyway, he’s been using his PR powers to help elevate entrepreneurs and builders here in San Diego. And we love that!

The more we howl about our San Diego scene the better.
