Justin Seahowl aka Justin Renfro
It’s my pleasure to introduce Justin Seahowl!
Justin and I go way back to 2019, where we used to battle it out for San Diego scooter domination. Remember that time we all woke up and a light blanket of scooters had fallen from the sky? Wasn’t that magical?
Honestly, we have stories that would make for one of the most epic podcasts. The reality was, though we worked for different companies, we were all kind of on the same team, working to change how cities move.
Okay, enough scooter nostalgia? Good.
From there, he's gone on to make waves in the fundraising and investment space at Wefunder. When most people zig, Justin zags, generally guided by good vibes and a core belief in what’s good for founders.
The reality is that most businesses, unless bootstrapped with that intention, need capital, and he’s been an advocate for alternatives to VC for years.
He’s even launched a revshare style of investment vehicle to add a variety of options for founders.
So what’s up with the Seahowl name?
Oh, I’ll tell ya. Justin’s side hustle is a charter company taking tourists and explorers out on San Diego waters. His company, Chill Charters, embodies his good vibes spirit.
Here are a few fun stats:
- Over 2,000 great days facilitated for people around the world.
- Over $1M in revenue.
- A sick side hustle.
“A sick side hustle” was not something I added; it’s in his description. This is what you get with Justin Seahowl.
If you’re looking for adventure and authenticity, this is your guy. Oh, if you can’t find him by Justin, it’s because he goes by JADO now, story on his blog: lifeiscoolbyjado.com.
Howl yeah, JADO! Thank you for all you do for San Diego founders. We appreciate the authenticity you bring to our entrepreneurship scene.
Tacos soon?
Ahwoo!
