Cher-Howl K-oyote aka Cheryl K Goodman
We need to let out a mighty “ahwoo” for Cher-Howl K-oyote!! Can you imagine a more seamless transformation from her human name, Cheryl K, to a pack name? Cher-Howl 😂
She's been more active in the AI space than a coyote during a full moon, helping to produce tech events like First Mondays at ClickUp, TechCon, and the Quarterly Tech Report. All while building her business: findgood.tech and writing a book about AI called: How to Win Friends and Influence Robots.
She's on a mission to dispel some of the growls around AI and make it more approachable for everyone. The reality is, we can all benefit from many of the tools she's sharing if we put a little time into learning them.
Speaking of AI, you might think that we run around with a camera capturing photos of coyotes in neat poses. Hate to burst your bubble…only sometimes, it’s usually AI holding the camera. She’s got a few chapters on this too.
Fun fact! Did you know that she was a news anchor in a past life? It makes sense if you see her presence on stage.
What you might not know is that she's been howling in tech communications for much of her career. Getting her start at MP3.com (URL no longer live), moving to Qualcomm’s MEMS division, then Qualcomm labs, and on to Sony before starting FindGood.tech.
Lately, she's been helping to nurture local tech talent in San Diego as the Vice Chair of Startup San Diego.
So whether she's howling with entrepreneurs, producing AI tech programming, or explaining why your Roomba isn't plotting world domination (a recent blog post), you could say she's been putting the "good" in Goodman. Tough pun, but we’ll take it.
On second thought, a Roomba is similar to a cat, and this coyote is wary of them. But, they sure are chaseable.
Thanks for all you do for the San Diego tech scene Cher-Howl and for helping to level up this coyote's AI knowledge too.
If you want to catch up with her IRL, she’s hosting a number of upcoming AI events. You can check 'em out here.
Howl yeah!
